NET Lab Connect Software
This project has created a set of free, open-source software tools for student and professional designers who want to create interactive objects and spaces that incorporate various sensors, motors, LEDs, imagery, video, text and audio, in order to engage users in the physical world. For many projects, these tools enable the user to create projects with a simple drag & drop interface and no programming.

re.moto
This project is a collaboration with Moto Development Group to create a small, low cost wireless sensor system. Based on the Arduino open source hardware specification, re.moto has multiple analog inputs, digital outputs, support for I2C, and many other features. The re.moto unit communicates with other re.moto units, with a host computer, and with remote computers on the Internet via the re.moto Messenger software.

NET Lab Proto Space
This research project will create small and large prototype contexts such as future retail environments, living spaces, and transportation interiors that enable design experimentation and user testing in context with working interactive prototypes.

Multi-touch table
While multi-touch technology has received a lot of press lately, the actual uses have been quite mundane. This project seeks to invent new modes of interaction through large multi-touch displays. In particular, we're interested in designing for the collaborative exploration of information spaces through multi-user, multi-touch systems. We are also working with Moto Development Group to create systems that can detect the identity of objects on the surface as well as enabling more gestural interfaces by detecting interactions above the surface of the table.
